The hubby and I have had our share of ups and downs, ins and outs through the years but we've managed to escape relatively unscathed. So in honor of 10 years, I have the top 10 things I've learned about being married.
I hope this will serve as a primer for all those loving young, newly married couples who sicken me with their doe eyes and sweet nothings ... I mean who are still new to love... whatever.
- Selective listening is a real dysfunction and I implore the medical community to find a cure. I'll even design a magnetic car ribbon for the cause.
- If it's on the floor, assume it's dirty. Whatever you do, don't smell it!
- Eye rolling is an involuntary reflex. No amount of shouting, "knock it off!" will stop it.
- I am detail orientated, he is not. And he refuses to learn.
- I'm usually right and if I'm patient, he will eventually see it too.
- His lawn is important to him and only God knows why.
- FOOTBALLSUNDAY is one word.
- He can't see that cup/shoe/belt/dirty plate/old receipt that I've left laying about to make a point.
- Whe he says,"feel that vibration!" he means the subwoofers shaking the floor. I don't use that same definition.
- Ten minutes of all the right moves is 10 times better than an hour of artful exploration.
Happy anniversary, darling. Thanks for putting up with me!

Love you both!

Congrats indeed! We're both so happy for you. =)
Congrats to both of you!
I hope you have a better 10th than I did. I had to bail my hubby out of jail on mine! (...long story, I think I told you about that one...) all I'm going to say is never let your hubby buy a big boat when he doesn't even know how to drive one and drink a lot.
Have a great one! I'm so happy for you both!
