Sound of love

This morning when checking my e-mail, the ever-observant ball of fire noticed a photo of Saturn on my homepage. I tried to explain the concept of moons embedded in Saturn's rings, but please, I can't even understand that shit. Unfortunately, he had lots of questions.

After an agonizing round of "why?", he finished with one last query.

He: "Mom, does Saturn make noises?"
Me: "I don't know. Let's look on the computer and find out."

Enter Google search terms sounds of Saturn.

Low and behold, NASA has recorded some of the erie radio waves that Saturn creates. And you can listen to it too!

After listening to the audio about ten times, the ball of fire looks at me with all seriousness and said, "Mom, Saturn is freaking me out!"

I didn't know you had a ball of fire.

You know, a lot of scientists pick really easy hypotheses. Who the hell couldn't have guessed that?
