Last night I banged my head for three hours at the Bravery concert. But before they graced the stage, I fell in love with a three-man band from London called Fiction Plane.
The guitar player is fucking wicked. He whipped that Fender into a frenzy! There was something about them that felt very familiar. Very rocking. Thin Lizzy? Yes? Maybe a little Police?
It could be the lead singer is Sting's baby boy. That's right -- Sumner has a son and his little band kicks ass, and while he autographed my CD while I blathered on about how much I love Sting's work.
Yes, yes I did. And yes, yes I am a little embarassed, but I'd do it again.
P.S. Aunt Janice, you should really pick up this CD. Seriously.

I've seen Fiction Plane twice, once opening for Sting and the other time opening for the Police. I think they're great, and I thought they sounded a little like U2 sometimes.
The girls behind us at Sting's concert nearly peed themselves when Joe Sumner signed their cd's.
Cause you're a cheap bastard?
Seriously, it was 10 smackers at the show and my copy has my name on it!
i think you can download from iTunes.
