This has been the worst summer for the pool. In fact, we haven't been once. It is a favorite summer-time hobby of mine to lounge poolside, quietly people watching behind my bug-eyed-goggle sunglasses while the ball of fire torments the younger children around him.
Last summer our community pool shut down a month early, tore up the ground and prepared to build one of the BIGGEST swim parks in the local area. It still isn't open.
They have teased us: "Open by Memorial Day!" And then they taunted us: "Open by July 4!" and then they ass-raped us: "Open by Aug. 1!" August? Are you kidding me? Apparently someone put the screws on and they are opening this Friday.
Give it up to Jesus! I have never been so excited about plus-sized women in two-pieces. I can hardly wait!

So - here in Ucrap (Utah) they have been having a lot of problems with Cryptosporidium (fecal matter in the pool) the news stations have been giving advice on how to clean yourselves and shower before swimming in the local pools...I am sticking with swimming in my garden tub this summer.
