ONOUDIDNT

So, I was a true heavy metal fan in my younger days. Metallica, Skid Row, Slaughter, I loved them all. But my favorite was Van Halen.

I saw them in concert five times. And in a drunken fervor, I donated one of my bras at the feet of Sammy Hagar.

While my tastes have changed through the years and the call of punk has beckoned, I never forgot my Van Hagar. I just assumed they would live into infamy (despite that Gary Cherone thing).

And then my dreams were shattered last week.

The Van Halen brothers have decided to host reality show auditions for a new singer. Stab me in the eye, but I'm going to have to watch it!
