Seriously folks, just because your mama says you're a good singer, it doesn't make it true. My mom used to brag because I'm taller than she is. She's five foot, everyone is taller than she is.
This year, during the tryouts, I was really impressed by this little snippet of a girl named Paris Bennett. She was so good, it gave me goosebumps. I'm a big fan of music and the goosebump factor is a force to be reckoned.
During her tryout, I told the hubby, "if she doesn't go to Hollywood, we're never watching the show again." She made it to Hollywood.
During Hollywood week, I again expressed that "if she doesn't make the final 24, we're never watching this show again." She made the final 24.
I must state for the record, if this girl doesn't go all the way, I'm starting a nationwide boycott of American Idol and I'll have to burn down Simon Cowell's house.
Yes, she's that good!
