Intrigue wins again

As you might have guessed from past posts, I'm a big fan of the online publication Salon. I think it has some fantastic stories on it and I am particularly fond of the columnists. Please note the link to Garrison Keillor's latest column under my "Read along" section. He insists on calling President Bush the Current Occupant, which just cracks me up to no end.

Today I was checking out the latest headlines and there is a story about the JFK assasination. Like any good story lover, I am a sucker for consipiracy theories. And this one, well, it seems to be the granddaddy of conspiracies.

It also leaves me with that slightly sick feeling in my stomach. We have no idea exactly how devious our government has become. We only get glimpses here and there. I'm afraid if we knew all the details, we'd have to question the very foundation upon which we are grounded.
