Role model, model patient

I must admit that this season I have been watching American Idol. I know in a previous post I proclaimed my enamored state for Paris Bennet. But what I didn't tell you is that I never stopped watching after she was eliminated. Instead, I switched my alliance to the dashing -- yet bald -- rocker Chris. Two weeks ago, he was eliminated and I lost all faith in America to appreciate musical talent.

Of the two contestents left, I prefer Taylor and Katherine is just getting on my last nerve. She pretty much landed the dumb-ass list with a recent statement in the media.

According to a recent AP article....

"...McPhee said, "I love being a role model. It's still a man's world in society." Her advice: "Girls should keep working on themselves."

Which, she said, she's done herself.

"I've been through many therapy sessions ... It's an ongoing struggle to work on myself."

What the fuck? Girls should keep working on themselves? Because Lord knows they are all screwed up and need to work harder to be perfect, that's what you meant, right? And through therapy? Why not call them all fat pigs and call it a day, stupid twit.
